Summary
Wile E. Coyote, super genius and expert vampire hunter, has been chasing a vampire across the New Mexico desert for years without success. Every time he feels he's gotten close to finally driving a stake through the bastard's heart, he slips away, leaving Wile E. battered, bruised and feeling incredibly pathetic in his wake.
One day, he's called off to get rid of a local vampire and, while he doesn't want to abandon the chase he's in, he ultimately complies and takes the job.
He doesn't expect that bastard to follow him.

Wile E. shook his head, the brown and grey hairs at the top of his head moving as freely as his ears used to.
“Well,” Kevin sighed as he leaned back and nearly broke his already near-death swivel chair, “I can’t help you, then! You know we only cover incidents related to rocket shoe malfunctions, anvils from rooftops, and other non-human consumer product cases.”

Coyote came back to the desert, Road Runner developed some kind of weird separation anxiety in which, if he wasn't out of his cave by midday, the bird would hover around his cave, beeping, kicking rocks, stealing stuff, or throwing tantrums until he went out and chased him. Yet, in the end, Road Runner wasn’t bouncing impatiently on his toes or angling his body for another sprint like he always did.
Now he stayed, staring directly at him with those enormous blue eyes that seemed to be demanding something.

Summary
Sonic was dead, for a whole year that is what everyone believed. His sudden disappearance and lack of evidence of where he could be caused them all to conclude that he had died. That was until Shadow, along with Tails, Amy, and Knuckles found themselves in the world of Camelot, the kingdom ruled by none other than Sonic who, after saving Camelot, had found himself stuck. There was no way to get back home and the kingdom needed a ruler.
Up to this point, Shadow believed he was unfit to grieve a person he did not know, a person who he had pushed away time and time again. But here was his chance, before they would all need to return home, he could finally get to know Sonic, who he truly was.
One slight problem; the carbon copy of Shadow known as Lancelot seems to hold a grudge against him. If he wants to befriend Sonic, then he must go through his most trusted knight.
But why does Lancelot look at Sonic like he holds up the moon and the stars? Why does Sonic talk about the knight with such endearment? Wait. Are they flirting???

"I heard your first request, Sir Lancelot." A voice booms throughout the cavern. Lancelot stills and a tremor moves through his body. "I am considering whether it is worth my time to assess if you are being truthful or merely attempting to steal something precious from me."

A tyrant king rules with an iron and bloody fist, striking down any who oppose his cruelty. Sir Lancelot has never been one to stand down when faced with corruption and he will stand for it no longer. His mother, Lady Nimue, would tell stories of the king of dragons, King Arthur, and how his past was spent protecting the kingdom of Camelot before his disappearance.
Perhaps a desperate knight with a deal can pull him back into a world that needs him.

“You don’t need to fucking talk to him like that. He gets it.”
Shadow and Tails whip their heads towards him. Shadow’s face contorts into a glare with a matching frown and his body tenses in anger. He recognizes Sonic immediately.
“Excuse me?”
Shadow registers the entirety of the backstage had suddenly gone quiet. Across from him, Sonic caught Tails making a gesture across his neck as if to say ‘dude shut the fuck up! ’ But of course, Sonic was never one to back down from saying his piece.
So this would no doubt go badly.
------------------------------------------------------------------Sonic is on a downward spiral until he joins Tails in working for a world famous celebrity, Shadow, and his band The Final Crush. Sonic isn't interested in love, or dating, or anything that could leave him vulnerable again. He just wants to move on from his past, especially his relationship. He may not have a choice in the matter when he starts to fall for Shadow, a singer who buries more than he's willing to say.
