Summary
Dean’s finally come to the conclusion that his life will benefit from him getting rid of the old to make room for the new. He starts by donating a bunch of things to charity, only to see one of the blankets he’s donated wrapped around someone sleeping in the street a couple of days later. He can’t know that, when he approaches the cocoon lying on the sidewalk that first time, but giving away his old blanket has started a sequence of events that will bring into his life all the new he could hope for, starting with the man sleeping under it.
Castiel's lost everything. He’s homeless, living in the street and determined to keep going until he won’t be able to go on any longer. And then, he’ll see. For now, he finds solace in the little things, desperate for any scrap of hope that might come his way. Like the blanket he got from the shelter, with the ugliest dog face that ever existed, complete with flapping ears, that has made him smile for the first time in weeks. He couldn't have possibly known, when he chose that particular blanket out of those available, that that choice had started a sequence of events that will bring into his life all the hope he was looking for, starting with the man who sewed and donated it.

Summary
Castiel knows three facts about Dean Winchester: he loves coffee, he loves pie, and as heartbreaking as it is, he’s homeless.
When Castiel offers Dean a place to stay on a cold winter night, he never expects it to lead to anything more than a simple act of kindness. But as Dean begins to take refuge in his home, Castiel’s life is turned upside down by the unanswered questions Dean carries—and the growing connection between them.
In the warmth of shared moments and quiet understanding, they both begin to heal from the past, but the future remains uncertain.

Summary
Dean Winchester moved to North Jersey on a whim a few years ago.
Charlie, his high-school bestie, scored him a paramedic job in one of the most violent areas in the country. Dean didn’t even blink. He’s wanted to be a medic ever since he spent his childhood patching up his dad’s various open wounds. He could tell you it’s because he’s noble, but nope — Dean just likes digging around in the squishy parts. Also, Dean’s an idiot.
His adrenaline addiction sends him straight into a dark alley one night, where he ends up on his knees in front of an ocean-eyed mafia god who looks far too eager to let (force) Dean explore the insides a bit more. -

Summary
It’s 1973, and it’s the middle of spring, and each passing day is warmer than the one before it. The troops are returning from Vietnam in droves, and the American shores they stumble upon are just a little more accepting of homosexuality than the ones they left all those years ago. But Father Castiel Novak has never even stepped foot out of Salvation, let alone out of the Midwest, and as the only priest in this very small town, he’s determined to remain in the closet until his very last breath.
Things take a turn when Salvation’s newest resident confesses to having urges for other men. Dean Winchester wastes no time in asserting himself as both intolerably arrogant and an ungodly temptation, and Castiel’s only defense is to keep his distance. Despite his best efforts, a friendship still ensues, and it’s a very slippery slope then, with things going from bad to worse when Dean offers his self-proclaimed good hands to help bring Castiel’s family home back to life.
