Summary

Her goal: run in the Oka Sho, where the cherry blossoms bloom. Through her great-grandmother's connections, she meets the young child of one of Japan's premier racing families, and forms friendships and rivalries at school that will last a lifetime. And though not all journeys are easy, fair seas never made a competent captain.
