Summary
This series was entirely inspired by the magical and incredible performance of Steve Barton, the first and never-equaled creator of Count von Krolock in the original Vienna production from 1997. The very nature of musical theater obviously limits how far a story can go. For me, Count von Krolock is one of the most fascinating, tragic, mysterious, and erotic characters I have ever come across in any medium. The performance of Barton moved me so much that I was driven to write this character in further depth.
If you are a fan of the musical, Steve Barton, or both, this is right up your alley. But this fandom is easily read blind, so I encourage you to give it a try.

COMPLETED! I briefly had a ninth chapter up, but decided chapter 8 was a more organic ending for this work, and will explore my ideas about Ian and Rachel another time and in another fic!
Taking place in the time frame of the final chapters of “Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone,” I present to you a series of erotic vignettes, loosely interconnected, and featuring a variety of characters. As Jamie is recovering from his injuries, and while the Ridge and its residents are experiencing a few months of relative peace and tranquility, everyday life for the Frasers, the Mackenzies, the Beardsley throuple, and various other characters, continues as fall turns to winter.
The main throughlines that tie it all together are Jamie’s slow return to the world of the living, and the resuming of his place as the Fraser of The Ridge after King’s Mountain in a body not quite what it once was; and Fanny Pocock, his and Claire’s foster daughter, learning life lessons and finding her faith through the good examples of honor, love, and commitment she sees around her.
