The thing most people did not know about Maleficent , she was actually a Faerie and she had many half-siblings from different realms--one of those siblings happened to be the Goblin King ,Jareth and he was (un)happy to do her the favor of taking in the child she stole. Princess Emma would be gone until Maleficent had answers as to what happened to her own child , the Charmings would get the karma they deserved and so would Regina ; because their grief led the White King and Queen to capture the Evil Queen before she had a chance to enact her curse.
