One morning while getting dressed for work Vincent has a sharp migraine that causes him to be dizzy and suddenly collapse. Alastor finds him passed out of the floor with a seizure. Alastor takes Vincent to the hospital where they find out Vincent has brain cancer. Alastor and Vincent must learn how to care for his sick and failing body as Alastor is now his full-time caretaker. Somedays are better than others. Alastor does everything he can to make Vincent's suffering less.
Modern AU Alastor and Vincent are in a romantic relationship together. Vincent isn't a murder in this AU, but he does take his coworkers jobs via sabotage, blackmail and or petty work rumors.
