The doctors at the hospital said everything was fine. The detective told them to just go home and wait for the villain to wake up. And honestly, Izuku wanted nothing more than to believe them. He just wanted to drink his tea, ignore the stupid, heavy aching in his chest from when Kacchan had tackled him out of harm's way, and try not to ruin the fragile friendship they've spent their second year rebuilding. But space and time apparently have other plans. Because Izuku is pretty sure there shouldn't be a flash of violet light in the middle of the Heights Alliance kitchen—and he's definitely sure there shouldn't be multiple versions of his childhood friend staring back at him.

Izuku Midoriya made it onto the Hero Course at UA. He made it onto the course by the skin of his teeth – at least that’s what he tells himself – in reality he made it in as the tenth highest scorer in the practical portion and the highest scorer in the written portion. But Even with the evidence in front of him, he’d still say it was by the skin of his teeth.
Why?
Because he’s quirkless and people rarely like quirkless kids.
Follow Izuku Midoriya as he goes through UA as the first ever quirkless hero student and realise that maybe just maybe he deserves to be given love, respect, and kindness.
