What she expected to be one of the blondes many class notes was in fact a journal of her daily encounters. The Addams was not surprised the roommate dared to still write about her, though it did please her to find the pastel wolf wrote about her with the same affection she pestered her with.
Turning the page her lips twitched at the scribble of what she could assume was her and Ajax below a half written…block? Her eyes glared at the symbols, her brain unable to come up with a translation of what was obviously words, she did her best to memorize a few of the markings that repeated.

It had taken Wednesday nearly a month and a very uncomfortable talk with her father to realize that the fondness she had for Enid was romantic. She’d made her father swear to never talk about the conversation under threat of murder.
You are a brilliant girl, Wednesday, but sometimes you get in your own way. Her own mother’s words echoed in Wednesday’s mind as she tore her steely gaze from Enid's face.
