....“Oh, you want to know what’s going on?” Scar growled. “Guess what I found in your bed, Ekko? Jinx. Bleeding. Wrapped in your jacket. And guess what else? She’s talking about my daughter.”
Ekko’s fists clenched. His eyes widened like he’d been slapped.
“What the hell are you talking about…?” he muttered, fury rising in his voice.
“She knows her name, Ekko!” Scar shouted. “She knows my kid’s name! So maybe you’d better start talking before I break your damn legs!”
Ekko opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again.
There she was.
