“What do you think is going to happen?” Izuku asks. His voice is steady and not quite his.
“If I leave you in here with a hopped-up crazy?” she asks, and pulls something out of her pocket. Izuku squints. It’s a cheap stick-to-the-wall camera, everything disposable except the digital chip. A toy, pretty much. People use them for selfies, or give them to little kids to play with. She slams it onto the steel wall, high up by the ceiling. “I think I’ll get some nice footage of one UA student killing another, is what I think.”

The words, the tone, the lilting uncertainty — it all sounded like Deku, so much so that Katsuki felt aggravation rise in his chest, inexorable as the tides. He allowed himself a quiet grunt, venting just a little of the potent emotion into the room, but still didn’t move.
There was a long silence. For a time, the intruder just stood there, motionless.

His hand closed around something and he pulled up to reveal a dark gray t-shirt. It smelled so much stronger than the hoodie, that Izuku stumbled back. His jeans felt tight. Eyes fluttering closed, he held the shirt close to his face and inhaled. He nearly moaned. Slick ran down his thigh in a thin rivulet.
The sound of footsteps caused him to flinch, then tuck the t-shirt into the hoodie and rush to sit down again. When Bakugo opened the door, he was flipping through the textbook. Bakugo paused as the door shut. “Are you sick or something?”
Izuku remained hunched over the book. “No? Why?”
