“Umm, my phone must have been on silent?” Jack stuttered, wincing at how much of a question that sounded like.
“Well I’ll be, bless your sweet ridiculous little heart,” Bitty placed a hand over his chest, relaxing just a little before loudly sighing. “Well, can’t change that now… come to the back and help us finish packing the supplies into the company truck.”

Eric's over the moon when he learns that Jack Zimmermann is going to be his celebrity partner on this ridiculous baking competition show—this will not, of course, stop him from chirping Jack relentlessly in the kitchen.

Jack squints at him. "What?"
"Let me be your nanny for the first couple months! I'll have to go home for a couple weeks to make my parents happy, but you said your parents'll be helping out, so I can schedule it when it works for them to be there. I know you'll have to hire someone new when the school year starts, but I think you'll be a lot happier havin' someone you know around at first instead of some stranger. Newborns are such a handful to begin with, but I know how to deal with them, I swear."
When Camilla gets pregnant from a one-time hookup at the start of Jack's senior year, he decides to keep the baby.

Bitty had heard about Matthews, had stumbled upon his twitter that reeked of homophobia and transphobia. He really should’ve seen it coming. He should’ve known why he was being tailed.
But nothing prepared him for the sheer force of the check. Caught off guard, Bitty landed on the ice, head hitting first, followed by his right shoulder. Then the pain. It shot through him with shattering force. His head was pounding and he vaguely registered the fact that his helmet was on the ice rather then his head. He felt the bruise blooming on his hip, felt the ache in his shoulder. Everything hurt. And then the words, spoken with venom.
Or: Bitty is checked by a homophobic douche canoe and Jack will not stand for it.

“You think I don’t know that?” Stiles is confused, furrowing his brow. “I’ve only spent the last ten years of my life fighting with him.”
“Yeah, but, I mean, he’s an asshole,” she draws the word out nice and long, as if it takes on a different meaning depending on exactly how she says it. “No one who has ever dated or hooked up with that guy has ever had anything nice to say about him after the fact.”
“What do I care about that?”
She looks at him. It’s that all-knowing, all-seeing gaze, like the eye of Mordor. Stiles feels tiny under its wrath, so he looks away and stares down at his beer can, traces the design with his thumb. “I know you, Stiles Stilinski.”
“Not really. We only dated for, like, five months.”
With a snort, totally uncharacteristic of her and something she would never do sober, she rolls her eyes. “Gee, I wonder why.”
