Summary
Ozzie, Fizz and Blitz are all happy about how the day ended. They still have some stuff to talk about, though (while flirting).
Written right after S2 E7 because holy SHIT does the episode slap, it gave me all I ever wanted from an episode, especially the music. "2 minutes notice" has been stuck in my head for months now HELP.
It takes place in my queerplatonic Fizz/Blitz AU, so no one is cheating here, it's all fiction anyway, I get to bend the canon however I want muahahaahha

"Would it fuck up the moment if we made out right now?" Blitz asked teasingly, if only to fill the silence, old habits showing through.
Fizz immediately pulled himself away, grimacing, disapproval evident. Asking if something will ruin the moment still ruins it, damn it! But he was too light-headed to dwell on it, adrenaline making him jittery and impulsive. The recent revalation of the fact his best friend never betrayed him followed by their prompt reconciliation also did not help in trying to reject Blitz.
"Ah, fuck it, this day can't get any crazier than this."
Fizz pulled his friend back in, kissing him square on the lips.

Summary
Hahah funny mermaid that has PTSD, mommy issues and a dubious moral code to make her the spicy gay in a pair goes brrrrr
But on a more serious note - it's a direct sequel of "A broken heart and a healed bond" that explains why Chelsea did what she did in the movie and progresses the story further. We're gonna give mermaids actual reasons for being antagonistic towards Krakens, some ancestral magic shenanigans (I straight up stole an idea from Rise of the TMNT) and we'll see the results of a chain of abuse and how to prevent it from spreading. Spoiler alert, you don't cut the weak link. You gently remove it, cleanse it, fix it up and add to a better chain. Watch as it's becoming the brightest one.
The story is on hiatus. I probably won't finish it. It was a fun interpretation, but I just...

Summary
Kaveh gets a mysterious object as payment for his latest commission. It's a pretty locket, oval-shaped, shining gold and blue. Don't get him wrong, he likes it very much, the renowned architect could certainly appreciate the fine craft, but he feels… weird about the circumstances that led him to acquire it. The client vanished without a trace after sending the necklace via mail, and Kaveh isn't sure the locket is worth the amount of mora that he was due. He still keeps the locket though, finding it to be a very nice accent to his color scheme.
That was the biggest mistake he's ever made.

Summary
It all came crushing down the moment Ruby flopped on her bed, exhausted after literally saving the world at fifteen years old. Even in her head it sounded so weird, what was she, a teenage mutant ninja turtle or a teen titan? Ruby chuckled despite feeling tired to the bone. Ah, but not that long ago she would treat tales of krakens and mermaids the same way, chuckling at the ridiculousness of the notion that these carefully crafted works of fiction could be an actual reality. Now though... she knew better.
There was no happy ending, at least for her. Though literature wasn't her strongest suit, she was certain that if happily ever after was the main course, it did not include a broken heart on the side. How do you even move on from this?

Summary
There are some great quick-and-dirty guides to HTML on A03. This is not one of them - it is a comprehensive guide
It's now 2025, a decade later. A03 supports some new HTML and and we're all walking around reading fic on supercomputers that fit in a jean pocket. It was time update this and take a crack at finishing it. (Links and Images are in, the new Audio and Video tags are not.)
The previous three chapters have been divided into smaller concepts. Each tag continues to have - at a minimum - a link to the w3schools page about it (so you can learn more), a code example, and the result of the code example. Most tags have their attributes, things like [src] or [title], listed and examples of how using the attributes modify the tags.
There's a chapter on Bad Ideas, including how some of the archive's default CSS is available to you to format your work (users can't turn that off by hiding a workskin!)
Oh. And I added a bunny army. You could learn how to add one too.

There’s a sudden interruption of light. It’s like a tiny, localized dawn in this corner of Brooklyn alone. A glowing circle hangs over the pier, spilling warm yellow across the water and the boardwalk.
Mikey’s senses go to war with themselves. Obviously, historically, random portals are no good. His head knows that. But his heart is soothed by it, the way he feels when Raph is late coming home from patrol and he finally walks through the door.
