The sentence sears itself into Connor's mind.
He doesn't hear Hank's remark about how weirdly sharp Nines' teeth had looked, and his addition that he might have just imagined that. Instead he looks through the manuals he had found again, searching for closer information on ranged shooting abilities.
(The DPD starts employing a new android post-revolution, and Connor does not know how to feel about it.)

"What else do you want me to do?" Despite his question, Nines crossed his arms uncooperative. Connor really pushed his buttons here and he wasn't fond of it. Not at all. "Go down on my knees and beg for forgiveness?" He couldn't hold back the sneer, sarcasm clearly audible in his voice.
Connor didn't answer. In fact, his LED began to blink yellow for a whole three seconds, indicating thought processing. When it turned back to a steady blue, Connor met his glance with an inscrutable, intense stare, something dark sparkling in his brown eyes.
"Kneel."

Nines behaved like an arrogant, mean asshole towards Connor while both of them worked on a case and Connor isn't satisfied with just a simple "Sorry" this time.

His bodyguard is too observant for Changbin's liking, and his star-fighter hookup is starting to seem distracted. Changbin's just trying to stay alive, and live while he's at it, but it doesn't take long for him to start doubting if his choices are the right ones.

But at least he can assume that the king won’t try to touch him beyond tonight. “You know to be discreet, of course,” he says off-handedly.
Seungmin whips his neck over to the king, incredulous, hardly daring to believe his ears. “I—I beg your pardon?” he grits out.
Or: Seungmin and Minho are unhappily married, and very happily in love with other people. They come to an agreement.
