Summary
Shadow Milk is an evil entity who thrives on chaos. His hobby is wrapping cookies in a web of lies to watch their minds and realities collapse. Shadow Milk doesn't care about anything or anyone, except for one exception: Candy Apple and Black Sapphire.
He's aware that a war will soon break out that could devastate all of Earthbread, and his priority now is to protect the only cookies he cares about in this world. So he decides to embark on a journey with them to find a safe place to leave them. Of course, he won't tell them that his plan is to abandon them, nor will they know the true reason for this trip; for them, it's just... a vacation.
Although perhaps this vacation will be more important than they expected and each of them will end up finding the love they didn't know they needed.

Throughout her life Hornet only knew what it was to fight, always on alert distrusting everyone, killing every being that crossed her path. She could never have friends and she lost her family a long time ago. Now in complete solitude it is up to her to face a world for which she is not prepared, a world where she does not seem to be necessary or loved.
However, a small creature may be able to give new meaning to her life and teach her to love others, demonstrating that a family composed of 10,528 failed experiments, an amnesic explorer, a demonic bat and a ghost can be so functional like any.

Summary

However, when Dark Enchantress assigns him his newest victim; a soft-spoken, kind-hearted philosophy teacher at the local high school, Shadow Milk's attempts to befriend him and gain his trust to murder him spiral into an confusingly different end goal. He has to come to terms with a shocking new realization...
He doesn't *want* to kill Pure Vanilla.
