Summary
When Mirabel's gift ceremony fails, she is left floundering, with only the feeling of safety and thousands of lights far away to keep her safe. Six months after, the Encanto is visited by aliens, who take Mirabel and bring her to a galaxy far, far away......
Basically an AU where mirabel is force sensitive, which is why she doesn't get a gift, and she's kidnapped and rescued by the Jedi. She gets trained and later on interacts with the Madrigals.

The woman’s eyes widened, and her hand reached out, not quite touching Rumi, but close. “Not that you’re not beautiful, because wow, you-” She stopped, a look of realisation crossed her face “-I mean, no, wait, no, you are beautiful, but I wasn’t hitting on you, I have a girlfriend-”
Rumi ignored her chest squeezing.
“-A stunning girlfriend, Mira. I mentioned her, right? My girlfriend Mira-” The woman stopped abruptly and lowered her head down into her arms. “Jeez, Zoey, stop rambling at the deaf woman.” It was muffled, but Rumi heard it.
Silenced by grief, Rumi’s world is transformed when she crosses paths with Mira and Zoey, who guide her toward a voice she thought was lost forever.

And she has, but despite Celine's claims to the contrary, there was never any guarantee that turning the Honmoon gold would be enough to eliminate her patterns, let alone moor her to the earth. Rumi is an outlier in what she is, yes, but she is still a demon all the same, and her blood sings more loudly than it ever has before. Too loudly to be ignored. As such, how could the Honmoon ever possibly tell her apart from all the enemies they'd ever hunted?
"You're both going to be okay."
"What's happening?" Mira is heartbreakingly quiet in a way that she's never heard before. The other woman's eyes are wide as she stares at her—still open and vulnerable from whatever had transpired before their reunion on stage. Frightened. "Rumi, why do you sound like you're saying goodbye?"
