"Professor," one politely greets him. Young, he thinks, only slightly taller than Rush, stocky, smiles more than he expected from anyone in the military. The other is Telford, taller than both of them, barely smiles at all, never seems like he wants to be there when he has to drag himself to Rush's office hours. Neither of them have ever caused trouble so Rush inclines his head. "We're stuck on the same problem," Young says. "We thought we could go two-for-one?"

A gentle laugh comes from her throat, long and delicate. “Oh, Viktor. You don’t have to date someone to get laid. You’re smarter than that, and as a scientist you should know it’s all simply the right combination of chemicals.”
“Okay, yes, I know that… But what are you suggesting?” Viktor’s heart races, terrified of what she is about to say.
“Have you ever gotten a massage before?”
Okay, maybe he didn’t expect that.
“A massage? I mean, I have physical therapy every week, and they give me a massage sometimes.”
Lest sips her drink demurely, a smirk on her lips.
“Sure, but I mean an erotic massage.”
Viktor blinks at her. “Are you referring to a massage with a… happy ending?”
“Yes. Exactly.”
Over-worked and under-fucked, Viktor decides to take the advice of one of his closest friends. When he meets Gio, a sex worker specializing in erotic massages, the man takes him on a wild ride like he's never had before.

Summary
Viktor "A," the mage who transcended mortality, reached over and over through the expanse of the Arcane to find an end to the eternal cycle he and Jayce are bound to. The journey finally over, he watches as his own Jayce is freed from the suffering they've endured for far, far too long, and quietly awaits his turn.
It does not come. Clearly there is work still to do.
Lost and now without purpose for the first time in eons, Viktor turns his energy toward the first act of atonement that comes to mind: rescuing Jayce "C," a variant whose unique circumstances have left him trapped in his dead-end timeline for over a decade. Perhaps if he can find somewhere safe for this Jayce to exist, he will finally earn his own story's end.
If only it were that easy. Viktor A has made a terribly human miscalculation- he failed to consider that he and Jayce C may have different expectations when it comes to their 'temporary' arrangement.

Summary
“You were thinking about exactly what’s in your lap,” Viktor accuses, the slightest smirk curving his mouth, and oh, it is one of Jayce’s favourite expressions on him. But it does little to assuage Jayce’s panic. His hands are still now, frozen on his feet as he looks at Viktor. He feels like taking them away from the situation would make it worse.
Viktor breaks the pause, “you were looking at my feet, weren’t you?”
Jayce scoffs, feeling his heart kick up a few speeds in his chest. “Well, yeah, I was giving you a massage, of course I was looking at your feet.”
“You got an erection from feeling up my toes.”

Jayce pulls away and immediately starts kissing at his neck, specifically at his pulse point. Viktor lets out a soft sigh, it's nice to feel man’s facial hair against his neck. He never used to care for that sort of thing but something about it on Jayce just looks and feels so right.
“Jayce,” Viktor sighs out. Jayce has never heard something so beautiful as his name on the other man's lips and especially in this context. He delights in the feeling of Viktor’s heart beating at his pulse point. This man is alive, the love of his life is alive. It suddenly occurs to him that although he laid himself bare in the embrace of the arcane he didn’t actually say the words.
He pulls away from Viktor to look into his eyes, “I love you, Viktor, I don’t know if I made that clear back there but I love you so much.” He says breathlessly.
Jayce and Viktor are spat out of the Acceleration rune and share a moment seven years in the making.
Or
They live post canon and find an abandoned barn to take each other apart in.

The other Jayce takes a shuddering, angry breath.
“So, you push it down. You hide it away and spend your time sucking up to rich investors and the other councilors, trying to win favor and gain attention so you don’t have to think about how much losing Viktor is going to destroy you.”

Jayce allows himself to be beckoned in so easily, as if his body was a lonely ship lost at sea for a lifetime, finally being guided back home by the brilliant gleam of a lighthouse off in the distance breaking through the eternal fog. Viktor’s tongue wrapping around his fingers feels like warm, saltwater waves lapping against his skin.
Under Jayce’s touch, Viktor comes alive and his skin glows like the reflection of the moonlight off the midnight water. Jayce swears there’s a magic brewing beneath Viktor’s skin, an energy so strong it could create galaxies and control the swell of the tides. Jayce allows himself to be swept up in the current every time.
Wherever Viktor goes, Jayce follows.
