Summary
Jason felt a set of hands come down to lightly rest on his shoulders, thumbs rubbing at the tight muscles of his neck. “You seem tired. I can make coffee,” Nico offered.
“I don’t drink coffee.” Jason pushed his glasses up his nose and turned a page in his book. “Don’t like the taste.”
“...How are you alive?” Nico wondered, sounding awed and horrified.
“Pure stubbornness, at this point,” Jason groused.

(While researching the minor gods to fulfill his promise to Kymopoleia, Jason ends up running himself into the ground (and then some). Good thing Nico is there to make sure he takes a break)

Summary
“It’s an honest question!” Jason crossed his arms and glared at his friends, frustrated and embarrassed by the laughter. “He kissed me on the mouth, but what if it was, like, platonically? Or just as a distraction so he could win the match?”
“Jason, who in their right mind would make out with someone just to distract them?” Piper asked him.
“It wasn’t making out!” Jason said defensively. “It was just a kiss! And if anyone is crazy enough to do it, it’s Percy!”
“Not even Percy is that crazy,” Leo managed to get out between laughs.
“His boyfriend was sitting right there!” Jason pushed his hands through his hair. He still couldn’t believe it.
“Again, Percy is not that crazy,” Piper said. “He knows not to piss off di Angelo, and he would never do anything to hurt him.”
“So why did heー?”
“Which means,” Piper bowled over his protest, her eyes sparkling deviously. “That whatever game they’re playing, they’re both in on it.” When Jason stopped his pacing to stare at her, dumbfounded, she went on. “They’re both into you, Sparky.”

Summary
Nico hovered near the armchair, sipping his coffee and looking between the movie and the two on the bed. “So, are you guys…?”
“Platonically cuddling?” Percy finished. “Yep. Just a couple’a guys being dudes.”
Nico hummed thoughtfully.
Jason took his eyes off the movie and glanced at Nico. “Feel free to join us if you want. There’s room.” He patted the open space next to him and offered the son of Hades a smile.
“It’s not weird,” Percy added. “Jason’s straight, so he doesn’t care.”
Nico’s eyebrows flew up so high they disappeared behind his overgrown bangs. Jason choked a little on nothing, but managed to cover it up with a cough and busied himself by reaching over to put his phone on the bedside table again.
“Y-yeah, no, it’s not weird at all,” Jason said, feeling like his ears were burning. Faex, Percy, it wasn’t weird until you went and said that!

Summary
He didn’t call his name; Nico had asked him not to, considering what usually happened in his nightmares. Instead, he started to hum a gentle, soothing melody. Nico liked his voice and claimed it helped “call him back” during the nightmares, so he did it. Sure enough, not long after he started humming, Nico’s expression smoothed out a little and his mutterings grew less frantic.
After several minutes, Nico finally woke with a little jolt. “Wha…? Where’m I?” he asked, his voice groggy and confused.
“Hey, it’s okay,” Will smiled at him, even though he felt his heart break at the fear in his boyfriend’s voice. “You’re safe, you’re in your cabin.”
“Will?” Nico asked softly, like he couldn’t quite believe Will was actually in front of him.
“Yeah, it’s me,” Will said. “I’m right here. You’re safe.”
A rush of breath left Nico like he had been punched in the chest, and he reached out for Will. Will quickly closed the space between them and enveloped Nico in a hug, continuing to murmur reassurances to him.
(Nico has nightmares about Tartarus, but Will helps him get through the night)

On Percy’s thirteenth birthday, the first thing he did when he woke up was look at his wrist, eager to see what age his soulmate would be when he met them.
The second thing he did was blink, sit up in bed, and stare down at his wrist in confusion.
“Seventy-eight?” He read aloud, as those two baffling digits stared back at him.

Summary
Percy and Nico are placed on a quest to kill an amphisbaena in the Arizona desert. Neither were really excited about killing a giant two headed snake spawned by the original Perseus when he killed Medusa. They also aren’t prepared for the monster to have moved on from the cemetery they’d been told it last wrecked. It quickly becomes clear there’s no choice but to track the monster to the next cemetery. Unfortunately they also didn’t come prepared for the late summer sun, or to discover certain facts about each other that haven't been revealed before.

Percy feels lost and alone after returning from Tarartus. And if that's not bad enough, he can't sleep without having horrifying nightmares. Luckily for Percy, Jason is the one person not avoiding him, and the one person that has offered to help.

“Now you really owe me one, Jackson,” grumbled Jason as he climbed into the bunk next to Percy.
Jason had a moment where he was unsure what to do with his arms, but after shoving an unaware Percy around, he managed to find a comfortable position with Percy’s back against his chest, and his arms wrapped over Percy’s chest. Jason held tight as Percy struggled a little longer, then slowly relaxed, sinking into Jason’s embrace.
“That’s right,” he said, with a huff of amusement. “Just relax, I’ve got you.”
And Percy did.
