Summary
Hiii, this is the first of a couple of illustrations inspired by WinsomeEarl's amazing "The Devil Gives With Every Hand." Since I intend to keep these together, I'll just update this list as I complete works. I have a good handful in mind, I know I can get at least three complete!
1. A Quiet Pride - I found the two OC Watchers so compelling, Luchthonn and Arsames added some really chilling, beautiful contrast to brand new toy Cesare. And Caligari doling out a few crumbs of affection for each at the end really topped off the *ghastliness* of the whole scene!
2. Colomba Morta WIP Preview - I've had this sketch since before the Arsames one, but I could NOT. get Cesare's face how I wanted it! But FINALLY I got him looking how I wanted, I just had to get into Hans Bellmer for a few weeks and start listening to Ethel Cain. *wheezes* The full piece is coming soon, but I was SO relieved to finally get the expression I wanted, I had to share!

Summary
One of the most effective therapeutic things I do is write little vignettes and scenes with characters I resonate with. They start out low/no canon, and sometimes that's enough to work out whatever I need. Sometimes though! it's better to fuss with them and try to make them even a little more canon. So this might not really scan with anyone else, but I was fond of it and know that my vision of the Nard-Dog occasionally does mesh with how others see the character!
Definitely inspired by Barenaked Ladies' "What a Good Boy" and Frank Sinatra's version of "Someone to Watch Over Me," and a lifelong preference of self-damaging discomfort over admittance of vulnerability!

Summary
The Bigtop Gang has been invited to cater an opulent masquerade ball on Halloween night. Little do they know, the staff of another absurdly themed food truck will also be in attendance. What could possibly go wrong? Billie and Frances ponder the coolness of little yellow franchise mascots, Allen and Conrad team up to bully a man in his early thirties, and Steve meanders down an existential rabbit hole before being abruptly tugged out of it by a handsome, mysterious, definitely human stranger with a cold, thin smile and even colder hands. Will Bigtop and Zomburger be forced to team up in order to track down their misplaced bosses? It definitely wouldn't be the first time.

Steve and Cesare get friendly and manage to put their differences aside one night at a Halloween party. Unfortunately, due to the party being a masquerade ball in a dark spooky mansion, neither of them actually recognize eachother until its too late.

What is happening to these boys? Who are the handful of women on campus who bear a striking resemblance to some of those who went missing? And what is the connection to the mysterious Dorley Hall?
Stefan works hard to get into the Royal College for one reason and one reason only: to find out exactly what happened to the women who live at Dorley Hall, and to get it to happen to him, too.

Caligari can feel this one's heartbeat, along with its ribcage swelling and sinking with each breath. The new ones are like that, sometimes. Their bodies, so freshly dead, haven't yet realized that pumping blood is no longer necessary. All the gullyworks that control fear and anxiety are still intact, so the heart goes on pattering against its ribcage like a jackrabbit, unaware that its just forcing blood out of its body faster.
