Summary
The screams of the Al-Qatala fighters rang over the whoosh of fire as Samara soared back up. Soon enough, the gunshots slowed to a stop as Azrael spotted three trucks driving by the compound and into a shop opposite. Then a mortar shot flew over the building and hit part of the compound as fighters flooded the field again.
Samara moved to dive in again for another pass, but the fighters started shooting at her as well. The wyvern screeched in pain as multiple rounds pierced her hide. Azrael felt the bullets hit Samara’s side, crying out in pain as well, feeling like she was getting shot herself.
Azrael joins the hunt for Al-Qatala. Hunting terrorists was one of Azrael's specialties, something she now got paid to do.

Summary
As he crossed the base to the 141’s building, Ghost wanted nothing more than to crawl into bed with Soap and pass out for the next twenty-four hours, at least. He was expecting to see the other Werewolf asleep in Ghost’s bed, maybe hugging one of his pillows, but the man was nowhere to be seen when he opened the door.
Ghost had returned from an op very late. After debriefing with Laswell, he goes in search of Soap before heading for bed.

Summary
The Werewolf looked over at Soap and Gaz before he entered the room, and crouched in front of Azrael when he was close enough. Telila only watched the man as he got close to her Elf. Ghost cautiously placed a gloved hand on her left knee, squeezing it just slightly to avoid aggravating the burn scar under the compression sleeve. Azrael had one of her blades at his throat before he could say anything else.
Azrael had been a member of Task Force 141 for over a year, becoming the handler of their two Werewolves, but most of her past was still a mystery to the majority of the team. However, after she returns from a ‘solo mission’, her boys find her in a bad place.

Summary
A week ago, Price had finally contacted her after nearly a month of radio silence. The Dragon-Shifter made small talk for a bit, mostly checking on the Elf and her girls, before telling her about the new team Laswell was helping him put together. Azrael hadn’t heard anything from or about Price since she helped him hunt down Hadir and Barkov.
The Elf had been pulled into another assignment right after destroying the factory, where she had a spotty connection at best. Nonetheless, Laswell or Nikolai would have gotten in touch with her somehow if something had happened to the Dragon-Shifter.
It had been more than a month after the task force had been formed when Azrael landed at the base. She reunites with some old teammates and meets some new ones. After working as a solo operator for two years, Azrael wasn’t sure how she would fit in or how her girls would deal with the change. But she trusted Price more than she had trusted most anyone in her life.

“The intel was from a reliable source, John.” Kate almost chuckled, but she knew he was looking out for her, his draconic instincts coming out a bit, “Through here.”
There are times when the old saying ‘Love at first sight’ can mean something other than romance. Sometimes, it can mean finding something in someone you dearly missed. Like finding a missing piece of a puzzle.
After losing the only family she had left, Azrael lost herself, feeling broken. Until a chance meeting with a SAS Captain filled that hole in her heart. This one man would end up giving Azrael a new reason to fight, as she had all her life.
