Summary
being the new kid was hard. Being half normie and being the new kid at a school meant for monsters was even harder. Asterope or, Aster for short, was the new ghoul at school. Being half normie and homeschooled all her life, all she wants is to experience being a "normal" teenager. And at the ripe age of 16 she was finally making that dream come true. She went into Monster high knowing her half normie scaritage would get in her way of making friends, but when that is further from the truth, she's pleasantly surprised. Even more so when there's another half normie....well more like two of them. Now the only thing throwing her for a loop is why she feels so shy around the two other not so normies?

My feet hurt.
that's the thing I think about the most, not that it was the only thing hurting. My back hurt too, so did my throat. and my calves were on fire. That's to be expected though, I had just gotten out of a concert where I spent hours jumping around and screaming at the top of my lungs as one of my favorite bands played my favorite songs.
It wasn't my first concert, and it certainly wasn't my first concert for this band in particular. But it didn't matter because the excitement was the same every time, I did see them, hear them, experience them. oh of course the band I just saw was one of the most well-known of alternative punk rock music around.
Green Day.Ivy just wanted to go for a ride after the concert to calm her down. where she runs into a man. a "stranger" on the side of the ride that no one goes down. And she offers him a ride. It changes her life forever.

Immediately, Dennis was blushing again. Hard. Anything that previously came out of Robby’s mouth was tame compared to this charged tension in the room that Robby wasn’t even in. How did he always seem to do that?
Before Dennis could open his mouth to respond, Robby chuckled and asked, “Have you been holding back from me, Whitaker?”
