This is a Harry Potter fanfic heavily inspired by the plot of Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid, but taking place in the Wizarding Universe: a steamy, enemies to lovers Quidditch Romance between Harry and Draco.

What you’re about to read is the story of my very first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. My name is Draco Lucius Malfoy, and not to brag, but I’m the main character.
Now before you blow yourself into a frenzy, I should preface: I know what you freaks like to read. You’ve probably come here looking for some sort of disgusting romantic book where everybody spends the whole time holding hands and smooching and not accomplishing anything useful. That is not this book.
Secondly, the story you’re about to read won’t be all sugarcoated, like it would be if Potter was writing it. So if you want to read a version of this tale where everything isn’t scary, or annoying, or utterly preposterous, you know where to go. But if you’re here for the real deal? Strap in. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
Thirdly, this isn’t one of those mushy stories where the main character is a sad crybaby who begs for forgiveness every time they squash an ant. If you’d like a version where I get all girlish with Potter, or abandon my allies, or give up, then you can get lost. But if you’re prepared for what I am, which is mean, then turn the page.
