He felt as if he'd been slapped across the face. She wasn't just irritated with him- she had hated him from the start. How could he not have seen it? Here he was, thinking she had saved him, thinking she was treating him with kindness, when really it was all a farce. He wanted to laugh. Of course it was.
“Ah,” was all he could think of to say. He wanted to hurl something back, and for all his vocabulary he should be able to, but for some reason he came up short. Perhaps it was because he had nothing bad to say about her. How cruel the fates could be.

Summary
Before her, Astarion waited patiently. He was not, by any means, a good man. He was most certainly not the man her father had picked out for her, nor would he ever be. A fire started in her heart, burning every other thought and reason away, licking at her better judgment. Her father would never know of what she was about to do, but she would, and that was satisfaction enough. She was going to take it back; this thing that should've been hers in the first place. Her insides were molten and her mind was set.

Summary
Wyll and Gale made eye contact. Perhaps it was the tadpole, or perhaps it was their apparently shared fondness for pets, but they both came to the same conclusion. It must've been the tadpole, because Zepharah came to it as well.
“No. We're not keeping the dog.”
Both of them responded simultaneously.
“He's not going to survive out here by himself!”
“Oh, come now. It couldn't hurt to take in the poor stray.”
“He'll survive just fine,” she said, unrelenting.

Zepharah was sizing him up, eyeing him the exact same way she had eyed the goblins they had met that morning. The goblins, he noted with a chill, were now dead.

Summary
There was much to be done. A city reached, a tadpole to be removed. And somehow, even worse than that, she was going to have to travel in a group of vastly different, very suspicious and slightly murderous individuals.
Zepharah pushed her back into the rock and stared unblinkingly over the gently rippling water. This was going to be quite the experience, if it didn't get her killed.

This is my take on that Fallout 4 quest. The show touched on it a bit with Max, but I couldn't help but think:What if Coop and Lucy happened to stumble across a kid trapped in a fridge on their way to New Vegas?
This follows the timeline after the events of HadSad(Had), but can be read as a stand alone as well.
