Summary
Two days after Obi-Wan Kenobi returns home from his year-long mission to Mandalore, he and his dear friend Quinlan Vos go out for a night of drinking and shenanigans. And Quinlan is certain, absolutely certain, that after all Obes has gone through, he has to have at least some of his Knight Trials in the bag. He harps on this. It is annoying.
Obi-Wan thinks he’s full of shit, naturally.
The next day, sober and full of chaos, in most Universes Senior Padawan Vos shakes it off and just complains to his master. In this Universe, Senior Padawan Vos has a quiet word with the Master of Shadows. This is the single, changed snowflake whose destiny is to become an avalanche.

ch 18
During the Mandalore mission, Obi was taken in by the Aswad clan and the goran modified the resol’nare for him to follow the force instead of the mand’alore. Upon returning to the temple, Qui Gon expects Obi to just drop the “persona” and return to being a “normal” Jedi. Obi is fed up and it’s the last straw for him. He files the paperwork to change his cultural identity and have a cultural exemption to wear his armor/weapons and its accepted. He doesn’t tell Qui Gon and the oblivious man doesn’t notice. Obi also moves out to the padawan dorms without telling QGJ because he’s tired of almost being killed by plants.
Meanwhile, Quinlan’s conversation with the Master of Shadows has Obi assigned a covert solo mission to hunt down Jango to free him and offer reparations. It’s been two years since Galidraan and the Order now knows how they were manipulated to create the tragedy. In this version, 10 Jedi and 28 Mandos were killed, including Myles who was Jango’s betrothed. The council of first knowledge has also changed how they count passing the Knight Trials- asking the Force instead of the masters, so Obi went from having no trials passed to having four out of five. When they investigated how he passed and when, a bunch of discrepancies in his file were discovered and it prompted a big shake-up.
Yoda had doctored Obi’s file to make him look less remarkable so he wouldn’t be taken by other masters and could be given to QGJ. Yoda also really ignored protocol to send Obi alone on public transportation to Bandomeer. Yoda also has been training Sight out of younglings for hundreds of years because of his bias towards the Living Force. The later discovery of the sith shrine under the temple reveals that this was partly Dark influence. Yoda is removed from being the master of the order and sent on retreat to the corellian temple and Plo is made master in his place. Further investigation into Obi’s file and how he passed his trials also reveals mission report discrepancies that Obi corrects and leads to him being removed from QGJ’s care. Many masters volunteer to take him, but Obi accepts Plo’s offer to become his padawan. All this is happening in the background back at the temple and through correspondence while Obi is on his mission to make things right with Mandalore. Most of the focus of the fic is on Obi rescuing and falling for Jango rather than all the changes happening in the Order. Obi’s mission is also slated as an opportunity for him to pass his final knight trial and be knighted. -

Tim Drake has known what he was since he was young.
Janet Drake never did anything to try and hide his parentage. Didn’t even try to hide her infidelity from his father. Not that his father seemed to care all that much. They were both distant. But even that wasn’t even that different from before. Didn't try to hide the way her belly was bulging when they came back from Greece.
Janet hadn’t had to tell Tim about his heritage. It was hard to hide given his…well. His everything. His eyes tended to give things away even when he’s trying to hide. The too-clear blue like a sunny sky with no reprieve. And he’s accidentally drawn the Truth from many people without trying. Just because of his eyes.

ch 25
Gotham’s cursed aura keeps both monsters and satyrs away for the most part, so Tim really only has to worry about them when he leaves. Since satyrs are kept away, he doesn’t learn about Camp Halfblood until he’s 17. Tim is a child of Apollo, and his heritage makes it so that he always knows when someone is lying to him, even when they don’t know they’re lying (Apollo = prophecy). Janet told Tim who his godly father was, so he’s always known. Apollo also gifts him a celestial bronze dagger and a sword that pretends it’s a mini flashlight on a lanyard to protect himself.After Bruce “dies” Tim knows it’s a lie but can’t explain why, so no one believes him. He still ends up working with Owens, Z, and Pru on the Brucequest, but his abilities mean he realizes something is wrong quicker and everyone survives the Spiders attack.
Tim is still extremely hurt by not being believed, so when Apollo has Hermes deliver a business card with the Camp Halfblood address, Tim goes there after proving Bruce’s survival instead of Gotham. Gotham and the bats no longer feel like home and family and the realization devastates Tim. Tim arrives a couple days before Percy first does, and Tim is claimed almost immediately. He’s disconcerted by how his Apollo siblings almost immediately say they love him and have it be truth, and most of the Camp is disconcerted by his Gotham-ness and the fact he survived that long outside of camp. They think he’s wired rather than sinister tho.
Despite Tim’s protests/misgivings, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover are sent on their quest; but Tim gives them his credit card to help them. In the meantime, Tim resolves to use his wealth to update the Camp’s facilities and cabins as much as he can- some Hermes campers are sleeping on the floor since it’s so crowded with unclaimed demigods.
In the background, the dissent amongst the gods about the stolen Bolt is trickling down to the demigods, and Tim can tell it’s being stoked by someone in the Camp with bad intentions. He can’t figure out who, though, so he sticks to doing his best to counteract it with inter-cabin bonding activities.
Tim leaves the Camp for more supplies one day and is tackled by Kon and Bart- they’d returned to life while he was gone but Tim’s been ignoring his phone and the news so he didn’t know. Tim updates him on what all happened and they help him bring a truck of stuff to the Camp before leaving, promising not to tell anyone where Tim is. -

Daeron Targaryen dies of pox, only to wake up in a tavern years earlier, meeting Ser Duncan on his way to that fateful tournament in Ashford. No longer plagued by vague visions of blood and death, but having actual knowledge of what tragedies are going to take place if he doesn't prevent them, he's no longer a drunkard, but a man on a mission.

Daeron joins Dunk and Aegon in going to Ashford when he wakes up in the past. He’s determined to sober up and act more responsibly so he’ll be taken seriously and have a better chance of changing things. Unfortunately, Baelor takes the sudden change after his disappearance as him being replaced by one of the Faceless Men and threatens him. Daeron is able to convince him he’s himself, but Maekar walks in on the end of the confrontation and is enraged. Daeron manages to deescalate, but things are still tense. Daeron realized he needs to explain himself fully to them to fix things, so he gives the broad strokes of what happened to Maekar and Baelor. They’re aghast, but believe him, though they’re not sure if he just had a particularly detailed vision or actually time travelled.
Daeron also reconnects with Valarr. Valarr confesses that he’s longed for a relationship with someone that didn’t have the weight of expectation or the pain of stillborn children, and he and Daeron start a romantic relationship.
Aerion has also noticed Daeron’s change and doesn’t like it. Daeron being a competent heir threatens him, so he throws Daeron down some stairs late at night after forcing him to drink a lot of wine, trying to make it look like an accident. Valarr sees his face afterwards, however, and immediately accuses him. Maekar and Baelor can also tell he’s faking worry, so Aerion is held in his room under guard until they know if Daeron will live. Valarr vows to kill Aerion if Daeron dies.
Daeron has a vision of the wights beyond the wall while he’s unconscious. He wakes after a day- he’s got a skull fracture, cracked ribs, and a twisted ankle. He gets a haircut to protect the split in his scalp, but it’s low enough he doesn’t need to fully shave his head. Daeron doesn’t want Aerion executed, and Baelor agrees to let Daeron talk to Aerion and decide his punishment. Daeron believes Aerion didn’t truly want to kill him, just have the satisfaction of being better than him, he he hopes he can give Aerion a punishment that will make him not lost to the family. -

Featuring: Zuko and Suki's extended life changing field trip, Hakoda entering dad mode, a simple escape turning into a full-blown coup in the Fire Nation, and Zuko actually gaining support from within his own nation before taking the throne.

ch 15
Zuko, Suki, and Hakoda (with the help of Mai and Ty Lee) stages a covert coup of the Boiling Rock and escaped with 60 political prisoners who are now their allies. Jee and a few other members of Zuko’s crew are among them, as well as one of Zuko’s distant cousins who is from Yu Dao.
Mai blackmailed the Warden into working with them so no one outside the prison will notice the escape, and they replaced some of the guards with prisoners. The escapees head to ember island while mai and ty lee return to the caldera to avoid suspicion.
At ember Island they plan their next move- freeing Hakoda and Suki’s people without drawing attention. They decide to fake a mudslide that destroys the prison during the summer monsoon season, but for that they need Earthbender allies. Zuko’s cousin suggests the mixed-blood earthbenders of Yu Dao who consider themselves Fire Nationers. They travel to the colony posing as Boiling Rock guards with forged prisoner transfer orders as cover/a secondary mission of freeing more prisoners.
Zuko also wants to spend more time in the colony so he gets a better feel for what the people want to happen to it after the war. It’s been in FN control for 120 years and there’s no clean way to withdraw all Fire nationers without splitting up mixed-blood families, unlike the newer colonies where little mixing has occurred. Hakoda and Suki are very against it remaining in FN control, but agree tearing apart families is bad. They eventually come around to the idea of it becoming a separate sovereign territory like Kyoshi Island, and Zuko isn’t opposed to the idea as long as it’s what the colony population wants.
