Summary
After literally saving the world, walking across a gaudily decorated stage to be handed a scroll-work littered piece of paper in front of what's left of his graduating class seems more like a futile swerve towards normalcy than it does anything that Spock ought to endure as an obligation of friendship. Even if Kirk is mostly sure that's what they are.
Congratulations to the Starfleet Academy class of 2258. You did it! We think.

Summary
Bucky's snuck up Steve's fire escape past curfew more times than he could literally count by the time he's eighteen. A standing invitation to come and go as he pleased from the Rogers' apartment meaning that he's climbed in on Steve mid-dance lesson with a pillow, surprised the poor guy while he's changing, and interrupting everything from drawing, dreaming, and anything else a seventeen year old may be doing alone in their room.
But Bucky's only ever seen this in his own mental concoctions.
//
The one in which Bucky learns how easy it is to keep walking in on a show when it's intentionally being put on.

Summary
Jim Kirk is a minor league center fielder who's a top prospect for wearing a Triple-A jersey next year and also for entering the off-season without that date he's been meaning to ask for.
Spock is the bleacher-seat season ticket holder he might have fallen in love with about 50 home games ago, whose tongue is about the only thing in the stadium more impressive than Jim's work with a bat.
They're both just hoping the night ends in a win, in more ways than one.

Summary
Steve had a lot of things to adjust to this new world. He liked running every morning around the city he'd grown up in. It was a good way to see the changes while running fast enough that if it was too much he could just, keep running and keep it behind him.
Of all the changes, there were a few Steve was actually enjoying without longing for his time. And that, was mostly the food. Growing up on boiled potatoes and getting to eat french fries? Yeah, like Steve was going to complain about that.

Summary
When the Asset drags himself out of the Potomac River after the battle of the Triskelion, something has changed.
There is a presence inside his head that wasn't there before; one that speaks directly to his most primal instincts, and it speaks only of one thing:
To run. Run now, run fast, and to never, ever stop.
And so, the Asset does.
A story of recovery, of facing one's inner demons, and learning to accept the harsh truths of life. Of love, and the many different shapes it can take. The value of choice and free will, and how someone who doesn't believe themselves worthy of being saved can end up being someone else's hero.
