Summary
“Do you ever wish you could see Uncle Tommy?” Lo’ak asks. “The way you see Neteyam?”
Jake’s eyes find the glowing orb that he knows is Earth’s sun. He can’t stop the flood of memories that fills his mind of Tommy – the only family he had for most of his time on Earth. The person he’d loved most in the world before he’d met Neytiri and had his kids.
There would never be a moment where he didn’t miss him and wish he could be here too.
There are so many things Jake wishes he could say to his twin brother and it kills him that he will never get the chance to say them. The only comfort he has is how much he sees himself and his brother in Lo’ak and Neteyam. And while he hates the fact that some patterns have repeated, it gives him hope that the cycle can still be fixed.
“Every day, kid. Every single day.”
Or: an exploration of the similarities and differences between the two pairs of Sully Brothers.

Summary
It's weird being back in Hell’s Gate after spending almost three months in the link shack. Jake wouldn’t call the room big, but it’s a lot more comfortable than three – sometimes four – people shoved into a tin can with a bunch of science equipment and the link machines. It’s nice not having to share with anyone other than Neytiri.
His mate is sitting on an Avatar sized cot and Jake admires how beautiful she is, even surrounded by so much artificial human shit. Her head is bent over – braids falling across her shoulders and making him want to push them aside. Her tanhì glow faintly in the dim lighting, and his eyes trace the path they made across her cheekbones and the arch of her nose to the four on her chin that he always wants to kiss.
She looks up, realizing he’s watching. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Just taking a second to admire the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen,” he says.
Or: Jake and Neytiri decide to take advantage of Jake's last night in his human body and have sex.

Summary
Since arriving at Awa’atlu, Tuk has enjoyed learning as much as she can about the Metkayina’s way of life.
From learning how to hold her breath to discovering how to collect shells from the ocean floor to catching her very first fish using a net – it has all been so much fun! Her favorite thing to learn so far was how to ride an ilu. The sleek water creatures are so cute and so sweet, and she loves being able to glide through the water on their backs.
Magical, beautiful, and amazing.
Tuk is sitting in front of Tsireya – the cool breeze coming off the ocean pulling at her sea grass top – as the older girl works on her hair.
They’re sitting on one of the long walkways that juts out of the village into the water. From their vantage point, they can watch as Tuk’s three older siblings learn how to spear fish with Ao’nung, Rotxo, and a few other Metkayina teenagers.
Or: Tuk and Tsireya spend some quality time together and Tsireya teaches the young girl some Metkayina traditions.

Summary
With everything that has happened, Jake honestly didn’t expect either he or Neytiri to feel the desire to have sex for a while. But in a twist that surprises him, that’s not the case. It didn’t take long for his body to respond again to Neytiri’s presence – craving her touch and the intimacy they’re used to sharing.
Then, as he and Neytiri lay curled up in their hammock one night, she admitted she missed having sex as well.
“I know it’s soon…” she said softly, looking up at him. “But I…I would like you to touch me again.”
Jake leaned forward and kissed the tip of her nose.
“I’d like that too, baby.”
But while neither of them had any trouble admitting it, putting it into practice has become much harder.
They’ve never struggled to have sex before. Physical affection has always come easily to them – even as far back as their first night together. Their first kiss effortlessly flowed into them making love beneath the swaying tendrils of the trees. They’ve never really had to try when it comes to their physical chemistry.
Now, however, they’re floundering.
Or: Jake and Neytiri find comfort over the loss of their son through sex.

Summary
Holding the loincloth in place to make sure nothing slips, Jake ducks around some trees before stumbling onto the woman waiting for him like she said she would be, leaning back against a tree trunk.
She straightens when she catches sight of him, her eyes moving up and down his body with a frown.
“Why are you holding it like that?” She asks. “You do not have to worry about it falling.”
Jake shifts back and forth on his feet.
“I couldn’t figure out how to get the ties done. They…go around my tail, right?” He turns to show her, trying not to think about the fact that she’s looking at his bare ass.
“Yes,” she says and when he looks over his shoulder at her, he’s surprised to find her looking almost sympathetic. “You cannot reach?”
Jake shakes his head.
She clicks her tongue, rolling her eyes in exasperation.
“Come.” She gestures for him to move closer. “I will tie them.”

Summary
Neytiri stretches out in the hammock beside Jake – his body a warm, comforting weight against her side as the hearth fire burns cheerily from the center of the marui.
The older children are away for the night. All four children wanted to enjoy the time back with their birth clan for as long as they could before returning to the Metkayina.
Neytiri understands. Her heart yearns for the forest when she’s gone and while she’s grown to care about the Metkayina and their ocean-side village, it will never be quite the same. The forest is where she was born and raised, where she met Jake, and where she gave birth to their children.
Including their two newest additions.
Her gaze drops to the two tiny babies swaddled up in warm, woven blankets between her and Jake. A smile tugs on the corner of her lips as she takes in their perfect little features. Chubby cheeks, heads covered in soft, fuzzy hair, and tiny little noses that wrinkle in their sleep.
My darling, sweet ones. How I love you both.

Summary
Jake has learned to pick up on signs that Neytiri is feeling horny. Her hands have a habit of finding their way to his pecs or his biceps or his hips and he can sometimes feel her eyes lingering on him as he goes about his day in a way that makes the hair on the back of his neck stand straight up.
She makes excuses to brush up against him when they’re in the marui or to watch him train with Tonowari on the tsurak or with the fishing spear. He meets her eyes and can feel the electricity flowing between them – a tension that makes him swallow thickly and start to shift in place as her eyes burn into his.
The only thing that seems to be getting in Neytiri’s way is the fact that between both of them being trained in the Metkayina customs by Tonowari and Ronal and the kids flitting in and out of the marui without warning on their own business, there isn’t a lot of time to be alone.
All the lingering looks and grabby hands in the world aren’t going to do anything if they can’t find a spot for them to have sex in peace – away from the eyes of their children and new clan.
Or: The five times Jake and Neytiri are cockblocked and the one time they're not.

Summary
Since the birth of their children, Mother’s Day has become one of Jake’s favorite days of the year.
It’s always a bit chaotic with three small kids excited to help celebrate their mother, but he’s learned to roll with it. Now that they are older, Jake can step back and let them do some of the planning – listening with amusement and affection as they throw around ideas about what to do for Neytiri and Mo’at’s special day.
While they’re old enough to plot, they’re still not quite old enough to do it on their own, which means Jake needs to be there to help with the logistics. Not that he minds helping – there is nothing he loves more than getting to spend the day with his kids, coming up with ways to make the mothers in their lives happy.
It just requires him to keep a sharp eye on everything going on to make sure nothing gets out of hand.
Easier said than done.
Or: Jake and the kids are determined to create the best Mother's Day ever for the mothers in their lives.

Summary
The nightmares follow Jake into his new body.
In hindsight, it’s obvious his trauma and PTSD won’t be gone now just because he’s permanently in his Avatar – his memories are the only thing he brought with him and they are the reason for his nightmares – but for some reason, he’s still surprised.
He foolishly hoped that everything would be better once he was free of his human body as if he could shed his past as easily as he shed his pink skin. It was a naive thought.
The thick, woven sides of the marui seem to loom closer and closer to the sleeping mat where he and Neytiri lie. Jake’s heart thumps in his chest and he suddenly feels like they’re going to collapse down on top of him. He needs to get out – he needs a breath of fresh air to remind himself that he’s not actually suffocating.
If he doesn’t get out now, he’s going to scream.
Or: Jake and Neytiri process their fear of losing each other through angsty comfort sex.

Summary
Neytiri is alone in her and Jake’s marui – her husband is at Hell’s Gate celebrating the birth of Normspellman. While she loves Jake with her whole heart, she does enjoy occasionally getting a few hours to relax by herself. Not often and not for longer than that, but she sometimes needs some space.
She is sitting in front of the cooking fire – basking in its warmth. Outside the marui, the camp is quiet other than the occasional noise from the forest creatures. Most other Omatikaya have already retired to their homes to rest.
Her eyes glance out the opening toward the direction of the Sky People’s base, wondering when her mate will begin his journey home. Her thoughts are interrupted by a crackling noise and she turns her head to look at the small, portable radio that Jake keeps to communicate directly with Hell’s Gate.
The crackling clears and Neytiri’s ears twitch as someone starts to speak.
“Life…is an egg.”
Or: Jake and Norm get drunk and Jake decides to give his beloved wife a call. Shenanigans unfold.

Summary
Hunting trips are usually one of the things Neytiri loves most, but today she finds herself wishing this trip would end.
She stares across the cooking fire to where Jake is sitting and eating. He is not sitting next to her – he is not even talking to her – and she feels like the entire trip has been wasted. It started off so wonderfully only to end in absolute disaster!
She takes a bite of her food and stares moodily into the fire, anger twisted inside her stomach.
How did she find herself here, eating roasted winzaw meat while across from her a woman she is finding harder and harder not to want to shoot is flirting with Jake?
This is not what I planned.

Summary
It’s Jake’s first Valentine’s Day on Pandora and he is filled with excitement.
While other people might roll their eyes at the cheesy traditions and the way they became an excuse to fuel capitalism, he genuinely enjoyed giving gifts and going out for dinner to celebrate his romantic relationships. Jake has always found it easier to express his love through actions rather than words, so a holiday built on the premise of doing things for a significant other is the perfect excuse for him to lean into his strengths.
He missed the companionship of being in a relationship and he was never one to deny the pleasure he found in the physical side of it either, but it was the caring for someone else that he missed the most. Or he did until he came to Pandora and managed to meet the most incredible woman in the universe.
Now that he and Neytiri are married, he can’t wait to introduce her to Valentine’s Day. She has shown him so many different Na’vi celebrations and traditions during his time with the Omatikaya that he is thrilled to finally return the favor and share a human holiday with her.

Summary
Jake sits down at one of the Avatar-sized computer consoles, pulling up the electronic directory of all the media the RDA brought with them when they came to Pandora. He focuses his search on genres that he thinks will be interesting for his kids as well as child-friendly.
As Jake scrolls down the list, his eyes catch on a familiar cover and he can feel his excitement start to grow when he taps to pull it up. As the entire title appears on the screen, he knows he just found the perfect movie to show his kids.
“Holy shit,” he mutters, a grin stretching across his face.
Norm peeks over his shoulder. “What? Did you find something?”
Jake tilts the screen so his friend can see the cover.
Just seeing the black background with the yellow and red logo brings a nostalgic kick to his stomach – warm and slightly bittersweet. He hasn’t thought about this movie in years. Certainly not since his arrival on Pandora, but he’s pretty sure he hasn’t thought about it since his accident.
“Are you serious?” Norm asks. “Jurassic Park?”
Or: Jake introduces his children to one of his favorite childhood movies - Jurassic Park - and is completely unprepared for the shenanigans that follow.

Summary
“Tell me,” Neytiri commands gently.
Jake’s hand squeezes tightly around hers for a brief moment before it relaxes, as if in defeat.
“Afterward…I tried to get Lo’ak to leave me there on the ship,” he tells her, his voice almost at a whisper. “I wanted him to leave me because I didn’t think I deserved to live. I thought I needed to die. I…I wanted to die, Neytiri.”
Her entire body goes cold, and her brain struggles to comprehend exactly what he’s saying. It’s unfathomable to her. Jake wanted to die? Her brave, strong, reckless, big-hearted mate who never gives up on anything ever – not even an eating competition with his children – decided he was done living?
Neytiri stares at his bent head, frozen in shock and confusion and disbelief.
Jake takes another breath. “If Lo’ak hadn’t fought to keep me going, I wouldn’t be here right now.”
Or: Jake finally tells Neytiri about what happened on the tulkun ship.
