Re-titled: Was 'This Heals Nothing' but my story has deferred from it's original path, and so was renamed to fit the tone of the story more suitably.

It's Courting season and Branch is vehemently against it. As he prepares to keep himself locked up in the bunker until it's over, Poppy gets it in her head that Branch needs to "learn to love again", and so designates Creek as his mentor, to prepare Branch for the suitor Poppy has in mind. Now held up in the bunker together, Branch has to see what living with a Troll completely opposite to him is like, while Creek struggles with feelings he didn't know he had all while trying to help Branch open up to new things- even though Branch has secrets that are holding him back- all in time for the Romance Festival where Branch will be expected to pick a suitor.

Has "Branch is part Rock Troll" been over done enough yet? Clearly not. Please enjoy my take on this theory as we follow along with the Snack Pack, and the dark romance blossoming between Poppy and Branch. Will they ride off in to the sunset, or will they be torn asunder when they discover that there are some things even love cannot fix?
This story takes place after the events of Trolls World Tour. This is an AU that does not include the events of TrollsTopia but may utilize characters from it. It will contain scenes including consensual and non-consensual sexual actions, trauma, self harm, character death, and others. Please consider this a content warning and trigger warning. Apparently what I want to do with my adult life is write Trolls smut. Who knew.

But little did he know that that certain pink princess was hot on his tails, determined to find him and smooth things over.

This is a long-ish oneshot overall (a ficlet, if you will)... but the 3 chapters are short and sweet.
T rating for sexual tension, a bit of kissing, sensual touch and some (but not all) removal of clothes.
