Chad was looking forward to getting through it all intact, his girlfriend by his side.
But, Taylor's been a bit pushy lately and Chad keeps finding himself drifting toward a certain blond dancing twin.~
“Ugh, it’s always baseball with you.” Ryan said with a mock pout.
“Can’t deny the charm of the game.” Chad said, leaning in across the piano without even realising it. “Even you have a pretty good swing.”
“Oh, how could I forget about that?” Ryan laughed with a smile that said he most certainly had not forgotten. Kelsi looked between the two with confusion, and excitement, and a weird feeling of not-belonging. It felt like she was watching something she shouldn’t, something forbidden.

Summary
Eddie can’t move. Like this, Buck is illuminated by the sunlight streaming through the window; dust motes shimmering around his head, his hair haloed in gold. Beautiful, Eddie thinks. And to his surprise, he doesn’t feel any sort of guilt about doing so.
Except — he should. Because Buck is dating Tommy, and he’s happy, and Eddie would rather go to his grave repressed and miserable than ever take away from Buck’s happiness.

The day had begun as normal – or as normal as it could currently be, aka mourning the loss of Christopher’s presence (just over a month now), resisting the urge to punch Gerrard in the face (also just over a month), getting shit for his mustache (Chimney had a new celebrity lookalike for him every shift), and, of course, coming to terms with his not-so-best-friend-like feelings towards Buck, which both terrified yet exhilarated him.
Or: Eddie hits his head on a call and wakes up in a very eye-opening series of alternate realities.
