Tighnari is haunted by his parents' death in an "accident" years before, and vows to uncover the truth of the "accident", believing the Matra to be incompetent. Cyno, a promising new Matra, is pursuing a case of multiple linked disappearances and murders. They first meet in the florist Tighnari works at, and their lives clash together (for better or for worse) when Cyno has suspicions of Tighnari being related to the case.
