This was, without a doubt, the right choice. As long as the creature inside him was alive, the world was in danger. Killing the Hulk would only be possible through killing its host, and that was a fair price considering that its very existence was Banner’s fault.

High school was awful for everyone, but it was a specific sort of awful when you were absorbing everyone else’s awful. Will felt overwhelmed, unbalanced. Other people’s emotions sat leaden in his stomach, twisted and warped and heavy.
