"I want to be there now," Bucky continues, his gaze burning into her profile. "If you’ll let me."
Running her tongue along her teeth, Wanda wipes her fingers hard against the skin beneath her eyes. They come back wet. She looks up at the clear blue sky and runs her hand down the line of her tightening throat. "I don’t need any help."
"I know," he says. His gaze remains set on her profile. "Maybe I need help."
Smiling a small, incredulous smile, she shakes her head and still doesn’t look at him. "I don’t know how to help anyone."
He chuckles. "You think I do?"
Wanda looks at him, her smile widening. Brushing her hair behind her ear, she bites on her bottom lip and looks out to her lake. Even that lacks the answers she seeks.
"Maybe we can learn together," he says, his gaze drops away from her profile for only a moment. Wanda doesn’t look at him despite wanting to. His expression is too hopeful, his heart beating too rapidly. "No pressure, of course."

After the events of Westview, Wanda’s content to isolate herself away from the rest of the world in Sokovia. Unfortunately for her, Bucky has other plans.

Summary
I had this crazy idea to post to post 25 Days of Stydia Christmas fics, that's one everyday for the first 25 days of December. Well, seeing as how, at the moment, I don't have 25 prompts (but I do have quite a few thanks to Lizzyberry28), and I don't have all of the prompts I've received completely written... I will try to post one everyday, (but this may change depending on what I have available to post) and I'll continue to post after Christmas if need be until all 25 pieces are written-I'm that determined. You're still welcome to send me prompts, and if I get more than 25, I'll save them for next year.
Some fics are really short and written in about an hour, while some I've spent a lot of time on. There are a few that ended up connecting to each other, while others are completely separate. Some of them are canon compliant, while others are AU. There's a lot of different ideas, and there should be something for everybody, so I hope you enjoy!

Summary
Stiles felt like he’d spent about eighty percent of this day sleeping.
If there was anything being a father had taught him in the past three and a half months, it was to take advantage of literally every single second that someone else was taking care of his infant daughter by sleeping for as long as physically possible. He’d thought, going into this, that the lack of sleep wouldn’t bother him— he’d spent practically the entirety of junior and senior year of high school sleeping as little as physically possible, still terrified of nightmares of the nogitsune, endless cycles of dreams where he never knew what was real. And college had been four straight years of all-nighters, with all the work for his course load. Lydia had reminded him, right before the baby was born, that he wasn’t twenty one anymore, and that they were both going to be sleep deprived for the foreseeable future. Stiles had shrugged her concerns off, assuring her he’d be fine. Definitely tired, but he’d make it work.
Then his daughter was born, and he realized exactly how wrong he had been.

It’s simple, but he can’t help but watch her like a helpless, thirsty man as the hem barely reaches the backs of her creamy thighs while it flounces behind her. He notices that there doesn’t seem to be a sliver of fabric covering them and yep, he’s already dead.

“Please, Stiles,” she pleads, and it reminds him so much of when he found her at Eichen House months before that he wants to scream for her. “Please. I love you, and I’m sorry.”
After that, there’s not much Stiles can say. All he can do is kiss her face, hold onto her and tell her he loves her, “so much Lydia, so so much” just the same as he did when he was in the third grade and try to prepare for loss just as he did at the ages of seven and seventeen.
Except no amount of prior experience with bloodshed and death can prepare him for when Lydia gives one last violent shudder against his neck.
“Be good,” she murmurs. “For me– please. You’re the one who always figures it out.”

Lydia Martin dies on a Tuesday night in January, wrapped in Stiles Stilinski’s arms while telling him she’s loved him all along.

For a second, Lydia thinks that this is the moment that their friendship finally snuffs it. She thinks that this moment, in a dimly lit ballroom with Sexy And I Know It playing in the background, might be the last one where she can pretend that things could've been okay with Stiles Stilinski at some point. And she thinks that maybe a wedding, with an open bar and a plethora of other, newer people to pay attention to, is probably the best place for this inevitability to occur.
But then, he smiles.
“You grew up, huh?” he says, eyes twinkling as he leans conspiratorially towards her. “Okay, then. Wanna grow down?”
