And then they got separated and Wade was all the way across the room, far out of reach, and being shoved to the floor by at least eight people, and they were being shot at by special guns and then everything went dark.
He was going back. He was going to get him back now, and if they hurt Wade, he swore to any god willing to listen, all bets were off. How dare they.

Logan has never been good at emotions, or taking care of people. Especially not at putting his own bullshit aside and staying. But then Wade gets captured and hurt, and he needs Logan. And maybe, just this once, he can get his shit together enough to help Wade put his broken pieces back together.

Gambit stepped in close, laughing as he slung an arm over Wade’s shoulder. Wade jerked in surprise, shoulders hitching before Gambit’s other arm settled across his chest, pinning him in place as he leaned forward to address the kids.
Logan waited for Wade to react with some animated gesture or quip. But instead Wade froze.
There was a beat too long where Wade didn’t say anything at all and Logan tensed, straightening up.
Or; Wade gets thrown into a panic attack at a party and Logan seems to be the only one in the room that notices something is wrong.

Wade tensed beside him flinching harshly.
“Please...just—don’t say his name right now,” Wade muttered harshly.
Logan froze at the serious tone in Wade’s voice, his brow furrowing in confusion. The way Wade flinched, the way he was begging for something to stop in his sleep.
Logan felt his heart drop into his stomach.
“Wade…did your—did your Scoutmaster actually—” Logan began hesitantly, unsure of even his own assumption.
Or; After sorting out a rough incident on patrol, Wade is acting off and, for once, he's quiet. That night, Wade has a nightmare and Logan finds out those Scoutmaster Kevin jokes have a lot more truth to them then he thought.

(This is a childhood friends Travis and Larry au. Basically the theory that Larry and him were childhood friends until Travis' mother disappeared.)

Todd will be relevant because I fucking love Todd and everyone should love Todd. Todd my goat, Todd my beautiful boy. Todd.
Smut is a maybe. I don't know. They'll probably be freaky because Travis is a hormonal teenager coming to terms with living with a hot guy.
Larry is Trans but it is barely relevant, it will come up explicitly once at most. Just know that it's a goated head canon and it's my head canon.

This day just keeps getting worse.Going through the closet filled with Larry’s paintings was the one and only Travis Phelps. He flinched when he heard Larry’s voice, his head immediately turning to the other boy with a terrified expression. Then his face twisted into a scowl.
“The fuck are you doing here, Johnson?” he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. Larry’s fists automatically clenched at the sound of Travis’s voice, along with his jaw.‘Deep breathes, Larry,’ he thought to himself. ‘Don’t punch him in the throat, Larry. Sal would be mad, Larry.’
Larry took a deep breath, making himself take a step back from Travis.
“Well, numb nuts, this is my damn treehouse,” he glared at Travis. “Why the fuck are you here? And going through my shit?”
