Dabi was a vigilante with a shitty apartment, a shitty lifestyle, a shitty health and just generally if you asked him, everything was fucking shitty.
He was definitely not the type you would trust your children with.
But when his father crosses a line, he suddenly has to act as legal guardian for Shouto until the dorms are finished and he can go back to his isolated shitty lifestyle.
And it also doesn't help that class 1-A obviously distrusts him.
