Tsukasa was finishing up what he’d been quietly working on—just some extra practice for class (or maybe finishing one last problem set). He glanced at the small digital clock on his desk. The hour had shifted: dinner time.
He stepped out of his room, stretched a little, and made his way toward the kitchen. The soft glow of the overhead light guided him. As he slowed in the doorway, he paused.
There was Emu, apron on (still inside-out, because of course), carefully transferring chopped carrots, onions, and a few other veggies into bowls. She hummed quietly, a small, satisfied smile playing on her lips.
Tsukasa raised an eyebrow, a gentle smile tugging at his lips. “What’s all this?” he asked, leaning against the doorframe.

Dinner isn’t just about food—it’s about sharing, helping, and being together. When Emu decides to lend a hand in the kitchen, she learns how much joy comes from doing things for others, with Tsukasa by her side and partners all around.
