His inner omega was practically hysterical… It hated that they had abandoned their nest, the home they presented in, and a potential mate, all to sit in the back of a van for days on end without properly caring for their pack. It hated that Jane had suffered, that Max remained comatose, that they had given Mike a courting gift that he unknowingly repackaged for someone else. It hated feeling scorned and rejected by someone so close to them, whose orbit they could not escape. His inner omega felt the need to prance around like a peacock, wanting to attract as many alphas as possible. It wanted to show Mike just how coveted Will truly was.
