Summary
Inazuma has been caught in a vile storm. People cannot enter nor leave the Islands anymore. Only travel between the six main isles is possible. No ship that attempts to sail through the storm makes it out in one piece. That is if they make it out of the storm in the first place.
With the appearance of this storm, the people of Inazuma have come to put pressure on the Shōgun and the Commissions. They try to solve the riddle surrounding the storm, but cannot seem to get behind it. Not even Shikanoin Heizou. Then People appear around Inazuma. They stick out not because of their clothes or manner of speech, but because they are causing trouble. The Shōgun sends out a handful of selected people to search for these so called "Demon Slayers" as they have been named by a black haired man, with a woman clinging to his arm, guiding his every step.

“Why didn’t you ask us before signing us up?” Gyutaro leans back, putting all his weight onto his hands. The question had Hakuji wondering the same thing. But Kaigaku furrows his brows, confused as to why it mattered. He just shrugs, dismissing the other two, “I didn’t want to wait on your response and let the opportunity pass by.”
Hakuji is thankful that Gyutaro chooses to be the one to continue to argue, “But you can’t just make a decision for everyone. We don’t have a name for the band.”
Kaigaku clasps his hands together in a desperate plea, “Dude, come on! We’ll think of one! This is a way for us to actually go somewhere with this!”

Hakuji, Kaigaku, and Gyutaro are all in a band together. What starts off as a side gig with classmates quickly becomes something more as they move up in the local scene by competing in a classic 'Battle of the Bands'. But nothing about advancing in the music world is easy, and noticing the weird behavior of other bands doesn't help. With the rekindling of feelings between childhood sweethearts and an intense pining between bandmates; they're all just trying to survive concerts, competition, and each other.
