He just has a hard time projecting them the way he wants to or wanting to project them at all. He can recognize that he is upset over something, but that doesn’t mean that he wants to be or let anyone else know he is.

Bakugou almost isn’t surprised. The way his life has been going since the last year of middle school, a small part of him says “yeah, this might as well be happening”. The rest of him isn’t quite so calm. Getting attacked by the sludge villain, making a fool of himself for all of Japan to see at the Sports Festival, being actually kidnapped, and failing his provisional license exam might be bad, but this surely takes the cake.
