Summary
When he sees who is leaning against the wall of the house, he drops his hand again. It's March. He's not wearing a uniform this time, but brown pinstriped pants and a red, short-sleeved polo shirt. A pair of violet-tinted sunglasses are wedged in front of his eyes. That stupid, cocky grin is back on his face, too. He looks so dashing that Healy wants to shoot himself on the spot; like a model in a damn fashion catalog.
Or: The police of Los Angeles makes Healy's life a hell for being a gay man in 1969. March, the handsome new police officer, is the worst of them, and in addition follows Healy everywhere. It's not that Healy had enough problems already.

Summary
Events take place as a continuation to the ending of Drive (2011) where Driver uses Lars's guest house as a safe haven for recovery. Will he skip town the second his wounds are healed, or will something compel him to stay?
"It was too good to be true for a good looking, kind man near his age to seemingly fall out of the sky and into his home anyways. He was quiet, yet thoughtful. Strong, but wielding. He didn’t just listen to Lars, waiting for him to stop speaking out of politeness, he really seemed to hang onto his every word. He gave him his full attention. Lars wasn’t used to that. It made him feel, for the first time in a long time, that he was taking too much from someone else. Lars was usually always the giver. He liked being the giver; it was comfortable. He felt like less of a bother that way. He didn’t really know how to just…receive."
