    They kept rolling faster down the hill. Lightning kept trying to slow them down with the breaks but with their speed, there was nothing the breaks could do. Lightning gripped Cal’s shirt tighter as he closed his eyes. Both Lightning and Cal jerked forward, seat belts locking, as the back of the car hit a tree. Lightning went unconscious immediately, head quickly coming in contact with the steering wheel.

    Cal was left with whiplash, shock slowly taking him under too.
