Summary

Summary

Crowley works for Thomas Cromwell and watches his rise to power. Aziraphale works for another in the court, eventually having to choose sides amongst the ever-changing whim of Henry VIII and his court.

However, when things get out of control, Henry decides on a petty revenge against his recalcitrant lady, and arranges for her to marry an obscure lawyer in Cardinal Wolsey's employ... also known as Thomas Cromwell, the man who, in another life, had helped to kill her.
