The suitors wait for the Queen of Ithaca's bond mark to disappear, however they're getting restless. Meanwhile, Telemachus takes it upon himself as the only other royal omega to distract 108 men with the prospect of being his mate. None had succeeded until one alpha managed to leave their mark. Literally.
After years of searching, Antinous had given up on finding a compatible mate. He doubted the Queen was any different, but he was willing to do unspeakable things for his self-interest. Flinching, Diomedes observed the change in Odysseus’ eyes. Instead of the colour of the sea, Odysseus’ eyes were taken over by a hue of red– only noticeable when observed in a certain angle but definitely present. Diomedes knew what caused a hue of red like that.
