Summary
At the bottom of this particular window was the edge of the port, meaning they would land in the saltwater below unless they managed to redirect their fall towards the side of the building. The inferno was crackling from behind, and Atsushi could feel the heat tickling his back grow more and more intense with each passing second.
“Okay, we’re using Rashomon to get down, right?” It was a rhetorical question, of course.
“What? No. I’ve used Rashomon enough today. Use the Beast to get us down.” Atsushi briefly shifted his gaze towards the mafioso beside him, crisp, golden eyes narrowing at his response.
“Rashomon doesn’t rip your clothes to shreds! Just use your Ability!”
A wheezing cough left Akutagawa’s pale lips, “I said no!”
“Akutagawa, we don’t have time for arguing! C’mon, just—”
“Jinko!—”
Atsushi felt embers dance across the back of his shirt, and without warning, he locked arms with his partner and leapt from the windowsill, Akutagawa falling right behind him.
OR:
Taking care of Akutagawa is a chore. It's even worse when you're falling for the guy, quite literally.

Summary
There was something about their relationship that had always been peculiar. Akira knew deep down that all of the nights they had spent together up until Sae’s heist had been a rouse. He knew from the moment he came face to face with Akechi that the man had ulterior motives, and yet, he still found himself captivated by him. Maybe it had been the detective’s insane ability to lie his way out of everything, or his flawless charm and angelic behavior.
Even with the knowledge that betrayal was always an end factor, Akira still allowed himself to be swept away in the beautifully crafted lie.
Or: Akechi and Akira bond in the rain. Feelings ensue.

“What are you-”
“Would you prefer a blanket or a pillow?” Dazai interrupted him, waving the coat up and down to remove the dirt that had collected on it.
“What?”
“My trench coat. Do you want to use it as a blanket, or a pillow?”
“Uh, I think I’d rather get the fuck out of here and get to an actual bed,” Chuuya hissed in reply, receiving a nonchalant shrug in response before the brunet swooped down and laid the tawny fabric across his shoulders.

Summary
Akutagawa swats at his fussing hands and folds his arms into a standoffish pose. Atsushi snorts.
“You know, you don’t look very menacing with flowers falling into your eyes,” he giggles, admiring his handiwork that's too big for the mafioso's head.
Atsushi gets bored at a stakeout mission and decides to make flower crowns. Akutagawa, albeit reluctantly, goes along with it.

Summary
Two weeks ago, Albedo woke up blind and was pulled from the mountains to rest in the city. There is the expectation for his sight to improve but as he privately begins to uncover the cause of his blindness, he knows that his eyesight cannot be recovered.
What’s more, Albedo finds himself frequently in Kaeya’s care and company, leaving him vulnerable to feelings and experiences that he’s spent his whole life rejecting.
Without his sight, Albedo has to grapple with all of the ways in which his life will change — and he is so desperate for familiarity that he’s hellbent on forcing some things to stay the same.

Summary
Kojiro opens the door and looks around into the quiet street, frowning. It’s empty of life, no person in sight; the few other shops and restaurants located on the same street having long been closed by this time. He does hear some slight rustling, but it’s the small cooing noise that brings his attention downwards to the wicker basket left on the doorstep of Sia la luce. He slowly squats down so that he is closer to the baby occupying the basket.
“Hey there, sweetheart,” he says, his voice quiet so as not to disturb the little one. He reaches his arm over and grasps a tiny hand between his thumb and forefinger. “Where did you come from?”
Kojiro smiles gently as he picks up the basket and heads back indoors. He softly closes the door behind him and when he turns back into the restaurant, Kaoru is much closer to him leaning up against a nearby table.
“What’s—” Kaoru’s eyes widen when he sees the baby. “Uh, where did that come from?”
Or: fellas, is it gay to raise a baby with your best friend?
