“Huh?” The word flows before Ekko can stop it.

Unbiddenly, a thought pops up in her head. It's a stupid one, like most of the thoughts that Jinx has had across the span of her life, but she tilts her head, gazes at Ekko. Could it work? Ekko's already invited to the wedding, which would explain why she didn't invite her boyfriend already, he's practically family so Vi wouldn't disapprove of the relationship…
"...I know how you can help me," she says, a small smile forming on her face.
Ekko squints at her curiously, folding arms across his chest. "You have that look in your eyes," he observes. "It's your 'I have a dumb idea' look."
Jinx kicks him again.
"Hear me out," she says, even as Ekko stares at her with that flat look in his eyes. "You could be my boyfriend."
There's a long, long pause.

Two years after the war between Piltover and Ambessa Merdarda, the people of both cities still struggle to recover. The Council, controlled by those who continue to oppose the idea of an equal life with the people of the Undercity, attempts to keep Zaun under their watchful control until a new threat emerges from the power vacuum left behind by Silco’s death and Caitlyn’s attack on the old Chem-Barons.
Ekko and Jinx have taken the next step in their relationship, leading Ekko to shoulder more responsibilities than before with the rebuilding of Zaun. Meanwhile, Jinx struggles to believe he could truly care for her after everything she’s done to him. Their relationship is strained, and the two are put through new, personal, and unknown obstacles. And still, even with their own problems, Ekko and Jinx are now called upon to lead Zaun into a new tomorrow, in addition to having to navigate parenthood.

Summary
It takes her years to carve herself into Jinx. A gradual, unmistakeable erosion of the essence of Powder until the only thing people can really identify with her roots is just that - her roots. The only thing she’s kept the same is her vibrant, electrifying blue hair. It’s the best part of her that visually embodies Zaun’s chaos, and she loves it.
Where Jinx is the Queen of Eclectic Femme-Camp Cyberpunk Rock (Isha made up the name and she can’t find it within herself to hate it), Ekko is the new-age messiah of rap - the newest prodigy to hit the Pulitzer Prize hall of fame, courtesy of his album ‘Firelights’.
