In modern-day Mondstadt, famous songwriter/singer Venti is getting ready to release his new song but there's a problem…
There's still no new song ready to release even if Venti has promised his manager Jean that the song would be ready for release.
As the hours and days go by Venti can start to feel his creative block.
During an afternoon walk in the park as Venti tries to search for inspiration he overhears Lisa telling a long-forgotten story to Klee and Diona. The story was about the second Archon war that happened five hundred years ago. It was the typical good archons against an evil archon kind of story. But the part Lisa was reading from was about Lord Barbatos (Venti) and vigilant yaksha.
A brutal story with a beautiful and sad ending.
In the middle of the war, Venti had lost something precious to his heart on that day.

But the reality was this: Kiyoomi did not take Atsumu’s reaction kindly, thus resulting in five things:
1. Kiyoomi had left the MSBY Black Jackals to play on a foreign team.
2. Said foreign team was the same team Tobio-kun was on (Atsumu knew about the dozen or so other offers Kiyoomi had gotten after playing in the Olympics, but signing onto Tobio’s team was blasphemy!!!)
3. Currently, Kiyoomi is on a 20 hour+ flight to Italy. Only when Kiyoomi had left the apartment that he and Atsumu had shared for the past three years, did it sink into Atsumu’s mind that (maybe) they were no longer a couple
4. The next realization Atsumu had was that his proposal plans would never see the light of day
5. And now, Atsumu regrets everything he did that night. -
