Summary
'Taking in the smell, aren't you, Jon? If you came closer, I think you could find it even more enjoyable.'
And of course, Elias wouldn't keep this revelation to himself.
'Jon?' Martin's voice manages to get through to Jon. He needs a second to realize Martin probably requires him to speak up.
'No,' he gets out through gritted teeth, though he himself is not sure who this 'no' is intended for. Martin? Elias? Him, telling himself not to let the desperation show?
'Oh, my. He didn't tell you, I take it?' Amused, Elias takes a step towards them. Here goes Jon's chance that Elias would spare him the humiliation of a forced coming out.
'Jon? What didn't you tell me?' Martin backs out, but stays before Jon, covering him from Elias with his own body. Yet Jon still feels stared at.
'Martin...' His voice breaks into a whine. He can't be sounding like that, he can't. Not here, not now. It would be better if it came from him rather than Elias, but he can't. He can't have Martin know that...
'He's going into heat.'
-
Jon tries to save the world by agreeing to spend his heat with Elias.

'I'm not a girl.'
'Oh. I am sorry, then,' I apologize, while the young person who is not a girl wipes their eyes. I make a quick mental note to update our records. 'Who are you then?'
'I think I might be a boy.'
'Alright.' I sit next to the young person who may be a boy.
'But I'm not really sure.'
'It's alright too,' I assure the young person who may or may not be a boy. 'What pronouns would you like me to use?'An original short story about death and a conversation. Summary
Out of all the grimwalkers, you looked the most like him.
He doesn't have a name; he never had. He was either the Golden Guard whenever he'd put on his mask — a symbol of the Emperor's Coven, making the Emperor proud — or a hunter whenever he'd take it off. Not Hunter; a hunter. Just another witch hunter — Titan knows how many have there been before him.
Has every single one of them been called Hunter? -

Summary
It'd be a lot easier to be just the Golden Guard. The Golden Guard is perfect — a genius teen prodigy. Capable. Charismatic. Confident. Brave. Smart. Dependable.
It's not him; it's just a mask he's been wearing for far too long to know what he's doing when he finally takes it off.

Summary
Seth Domade had many good qualities. He was human and, as such, could traverse Rexxentrum with ease. He had some unremarkable magical capabilities, so it was not odd that he might, say, use Comprehend Languages to read a book or cast Prestidigitation to clean the muck from his boots.
Seth Domade, however, was not a powerful wizard. He did not wield spells that could disrupt the gravity of an entire street or send his attackers flying into a wall. Seth Domade was a quiet, unassuming man. He spent most of his days editing volumes in the Cobalt Soul’s library, and he looked the part.
Around the time the silence manacles clapped around his wrists, Essek realized he should have dropped the facade of Seth Domade earlier.Series

Summary
“If it’s just his heat, why didn’t you say that, Fjord?!” She reaches forward and grabs Essek’s hands. “Essek, I’m so sorry. This is such bad timing. I’m so sorry.”
“You should have told us,” Fjord murmurs. “We could have–”
“Could have what?” Essek breaks his silence, tilting his chin to look up at him. “If things are as dire as you say, we don’t have time to wait for this to pass.” He looks back at Jester, and then glances at Caleb from the corner of his eye. “You needed help. I wanted to help.”
or, in true 'Essek Thelyss has the worst luck ever' fashion, he starts to go into heat right as he joins the Nein on their rush to Aeor
