Summary
Attraction to Dream of the Endless comes to Hob in a form of a slow, simmering fire. At times it burns brighter, other times it calms until it’s barely noticeable. It never goes away fully, partially because Hob doesn’t want it to.
His companion is the embodiment of hope and dreaming. It would be sacrilege to give up hope in being wanted by him.

Death comes for a raven, and finds her brother. He doesn't ask her for help, but prevents her possible entrapment, so she finds Hob Gadling and suggests he do something about the situation at hand.
Cue a one man resque mission in 1926, which leads to dozens of years of platonic, yet vaguely romantic dating both in the waking world and in the Dreaming.Now with illustrations in the second chapter!

“Haven’t decided yet,” Ed says. God he’s missed this. He’s missed Stede. He’s missed how easy and weird and fun it is to be around him. “Kinda thought I’d kill you for leaving me with the dinghy.”
“Oh!” Stede says and tries to counter Ed’s attack, but Ed side-steps it. “Is that still the plan?”
“Don’t know. Depends on what you’ll say,” he uses a trick strike, which Stede, surprisingly, counters, and Ed remembers with a tinge of pride that he’s the one who taught this soft-handed upperclassman how to do that.

Не нашла его на фикбуке и чуть не устроила сцену из драматических трагедий с воем и битьём посуды. Ограничилась тем, что разбудила соседей отчаянным "нееет" и чуть не отбила себе в сердцах коленку.

Getting rescued from the sarcophagus that Grindelwald had stashed him in turned out to be a thoroughly uncomfortable affair, if only because Graves suspected that Tina would never let him forget it’d happened, ever. Of all the Aurors who could’ve stumbled over Grindelwald’s vault, did it really have to be her?
Besides, Grindelwald hadn’t had that much time to make Graves’ said sarcophagus stay anything more than humiliating, unless his Grand Plan was to see how long Graves would take to die of boredom. Thankfully, Tina had found Graves before he’d gotten tired of grimly plotting Grindelwald’s murder. Unsettlingly enough, by all reports, Grindelwald had actually been credible enough at Graves’ soul-sucking time sink of a normal job that not even Graves’ closest minions had figured him out. Which meant that a) small wonder Grindewald hadn’t progressed his Plans of World Domination(?) further than aggressively stalking some poor kid and b) Graves clearly needed new minions.
