Adam's eyes met the man's in a fleeting moment, and stayed fixed there, magnetized.
He was tall, and he wore an expensive-looking coat. His eyes were a deep, crystal blue, wrinkled lightly at the corners as if someone had just told him a joke. They held Adam's gaze with a curiosity that verged on recognition. His mouth was quizzical, on a knife's edge of smiling. Adam felt suddenly as if all the breath had been knocked out of him.

Summary
A week after Lawrence Gordon has escaped the game, he finds out that Adam Faulkner-Stanheight is dead. Thanks to Amanda, he stumbles upon a dark and ancient ritual that could bring Adam back from the grave.
