Summary
Robby eyes shot wide, and he squared up to Jack. "You think I'm the one with blind spots where Samira Mohan is concerned? Seriously?" Robby intoned, a look of disbelief on his face.
Jack was a lot of things, but he wasn't a fucking hypocrite. "You think I'm not aware of my own blind spots? The difference between you and me is that I would never let mine negatively impact her education. I wouldn't let my own hang-ups jeopardize her future, and I'm not going to let yours do it either."

Summary
“Yeah,” She says, sighing. She can tell the trauma is beginning to wrap up and she wishes more than anything that she was in that room, calling out orders and doing sutures, “Does that make me a bad mom?”
“No,” Dana shakes her head, her voice soft and motherly. When she talks to her like this she feels a bit like she is being cracked open, all her parental issues on full display, “It makes you human.”

Summary
Samira didn’t know she would be a tactile person. If her parents believed in physical touch between a romantic couple, they certainly didn’t believe in showing it in front of family, let alone in public. It wasn’t a lie when she told patients how she loved seeing them lovey-dovey with one another. And maybe that was the first clue of her hidden desire for physical touch.
But Jack Abbot was certainly willing to indulge in her hidden desire.
AKA the five times Jack demonstrates his ability to lift Samira Mohan and the one time he does it in front of the Pitt.
