Summary
Mike stands a few feet away, shoulders squared, eyes locked on him with an intensity that makes Will’s breath catch. He looks nothing like the easy, grinning version he knows. This Mike is coiled tight, attention sharpened to a point, his presence radiating outward in a way that makes people instinctively give ground. For one wild second Will considers pretending he didn’t notice. He considers staying exactly where he is, letting the moment stand.
The loud growl answers that thought before he can act on it, and he feels it blaring in his ears despite the loud music. It’s low, controlled, furious in a way that doesn’t need volume.
The alpha in front of him freezes.

So when his packmate, Mike, starts letting him wear his clothes to class to get the asshole alphas he's been dealing with off his ass, he doesn't expect to get so heavily reliant on Mike's scent to feel normal.

They’d never exchanged words beyond sorry, my son likes to talk and it’s okay, I do too, but then Hot Single Dad had given him a smile – all big teeth and crinkled eyes – and that was enough for him to become a regular cast member in Jake’s fantasies.
It wasn’t purely carnal desire, though. Jake genuinely felt an urge to get to know him – both of them, truthfully. Riki seems like a sweet kid, and his father seems nice, and he’d met so few people since he moved back to the city. Jake often finds himself wondering if he should call his grandmother for her banana bread recipe and knock on their door with a fresh batch in hand and see if they were interested in getting to know him, too.

(or, sim jake trips headfirst into the world of the undead, and falls right into lee heeseung's path, like something out of a cliché romance movie. things only get harder, from there.)

His skin burns with what feels like a million pinpricks of enflamed needles. His bones crackle as if on the verge of shattering. An unholy scream rips out of his throat. The contents of his stomach follow.
Sunghoon has been haunted for most of his life, but as he nears his 25th birthday, his condition worsens. He could die the next time he gets seriously possessed, but an unexpected reunion with a former classmate may turn things around.

They stare at each other, Heeseung’s bated breaths coming out shakily as he waits for Jake to say something, like he just revealed a secret as deeply plaguing as murder.
“Oh, um,” Jake blinks, “What does that mean?”
When Jake finally got his own house, one deep in the forest of his hometown, he was expecting for his closest neighbors to be a mile away. But he wasn’t expecting for them to be… special.
Not humans, but ‘shifters’ they had said. A ‘pack,’ as they told him, after Jake stumbled across a wolf too big to be anything other than supernatural in his backyard. None of it was expected; especially for their leader to look eerily similar to a boy Jake knew when he was young.
