A shuddering breath. A whimper caught in his throat. His hips twitch upward.
And then, far too breathy, wrecked beyond saving—
“Please.”

“You always—” Kaveh’s voice is hoarse, swallowed between them. “You always have to—”
“Have to what?” Alhaitham interrupts, his knee slotting between Kaveh’s own with practiced ease. The blonde’s breath hitches, his entire body tensing, and he hates—hates—that he can hear the smirk in Alhaitham’s voice, the quiet satisfaction threading through it.
“Ruin everything,” Kaveh finishes, punctuated with a breathy whimper as Alhaitham presses up. It comes out too breathless, too weak to hold any real bite.
Alhaitham hums, unfazed. “Then tell me to stop.”
Instead, he leans in, and Kaveh tilts his head—subtle, just barely there—but it’s an invitation all the same. Alhaitham takes it without hesitation.
The first press of lips against the pale skin is almost gentle. Almost.
Kaveh inhales, exhales. Alhaitham bites.
Every inhale is resistance. Every exhale is surrender.

“Say it,” Alhaitham murmured, voice low and breathy, though infuriatingly calm despite the way his pulse thunders against Kaveh’s skin.
His grip is steady, expression unreadable, but his eyes are sharp, expectant. Like he already knows his senior’s response, like the words linger on the tip of his tongue just as much as they do on Kaveh’s.
“Fuck you.”
Alhaitham grins, something dark flashing behind his eyes—amusement, triumph, or maybe something else that he doesn’t dare name.
“You always do, Kaveh.”
A storm that never clears, a cycle Kaveh can't break, always returning to silence that never speaks his name.
