He’s already starting to lose his mind. This must be karma for lying about knowing Connor. He’s being haunted by an unsightly delusion of Connor Murphy, who will plague every waking moment of the rest of his life and he’ll go completely insane.
“This can’t be real. You can’t be real.”
Connor scowls. “News flash, dumbass, I’m real. I’m a ghost or… something.”
Evan’s brows furrow in confusion. “‘Or something’? How would you not know?”
“This is my first time dying, okay? I don’t exactly have much knowledge on this shit,” Connor retorts sardonically.
Evan stares at Connor a moment more and it dawns on him, “I’m seriously being haunted.”
“I’m not haunting you, I’m just… following you. That’s different, probably.”
OR
I liked how the book made Connor more ghost-like rather than just a sort of projection in Evan’s mind, so. Ghost Connor haunting Evan !

Incredibly on point for characters. It's almost like I can see Ralph through Turbo's frustrations, which is extremely accurate to the movie — since Ralph went Turbo. Similar to Ralph, it seems that perhaps it isn't just jealousy that's gnawing him inside out, but also his own doubt. Watching Felix give out of his heart is also incredibly in character. Beautiful!

Summary
Things seem to finally be reaching rock bottom for Test Tube. After the death of her father, her online best friend offers to let her move in with him and his family. Things seem to be fine, but Test Tube isn’t happy.
All her old friends won’t even talk to her. Making new friends is hard. Things feel weird now that she sees her best friend every day. With only her astronomy studies to keep her in her head, she tries to stay in the normalcy of the stars and space.
That is, until, the stars and space seem to take a liking towards her.
